Privacy-policy

At Haptic Realities, we understand the importance of protecting the personal and confidential information of our students and clients. This Non-Disclosure Policy (the “Policy”) is intended to ensure that all such personal and confidential information is kept secure and not disclosed to any unauthorized parties.

Definition of Confidential Information: For the purpose of this Policy, “Confidential Information” shall mean any personal or confidential information that belongs to our students or clients, whether or not such information is marked or designated as “confidential.” This includes, but is not limited to, contact information, personal data, and any other information that our students or clients have provided to us.
Non-Disclosure Obligation: All employees, contractors, and authorized third parties of Haptic Realities are prohibited from disclosing any Confidential Information to any unauthorized party. This includes, but is not limited to, any information related to our products, services, clients, partners, financial information, business plans, and any other proprietary information belonging to Haptic Realities.
Exclusions: The obligations of this Policy shall not apply to information that:
is or becomes publicly available through no fault of the recipient;
was rightfully in the possession of the recipient prior to disclosure by Haptic Realities and was not subject to any prior confidentiality obligation;
was independently developed by the recipient without use of any Confidential Information;
is rightfully obtained by the recipient from a third party without restriction on use or disclosure;
is required to be disclosed by law or by a court of competent jurisdiction.
Security Measures: Haptic Realities shall take reasonable steps to protect the confidentiality of Confidential Information, including but not limited to, using secure methods of storage and transmission, such as encryption and password protection.
Term: The obligations of this Policy shall remain in effect indefinitely from the date of disclosure of the Confidential Information.
Governing Law: This Policy shall be governed by the laws of the state of [insert state].
Severability: If any provision of this Policy is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall be enforced.
Waiver: A party’s failure to enforce any provision of this Policy shall not constitute a waiver of such provision or of the right to enforce it at a later time.
Entire Agreement: This Policy contains the entire understanding of the parties concerning the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether oral or written.
By accessing or using any Confidential Information, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Policy and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions.
